Right Standing
Because God is holy, all sin must be paid for. Because God is merciful, He delayed the payment for sin. Because God is gracious, He made the full payment for sin.
God’s Faithfulness
Our faithlessness doesn’t nullify the faithfulness of God. He is who He says He is, not because of us, but because of His character and nature.
Religion Can’t Save
The evidence of our right standing with God is not contained in our outward works or signs. It is only found in the works of God in our heart which shows itself in fruit.
The Kindness of God
It is God’s kindness that leads us to repentance. We must never forget where we came from — sin and death. Only because of God’s grace can we be made alive.
Power of the Gospel
The heart of the problem is we all have a heart problem. The diagnosis isn’t good – we are all sinners in need of a Savior. There is good news – the Gospel. It is the good news that entered a bad place. Jesus paid the price for our sinfulness so that we could be credited with His righteousness.
Introduction to Romans
The point of Romans is the gospel – that we have a problem (sin) and that God put in motion a plan (Jesus) to fix the problem (death and resurrection) for the sake of Himself.
To Make a Kingdom Difference
The point is to glorify God with our lives and in so doing, making an eternal difference for His Kingdom. How are you impacting the Kingdom of God?

Imperfect People
We are all imperfect people. However, that doesn’t give us an excuse to live life however we want. We are still called to live Godly lives, albeit imperfect ones.
