The Blueprint

When it’s time to take action, what do we do? Is it enough to accept the burden and then start acting with no clear direction or careful planning? In the Book of Nehemiah, we see some practical steps we can take to begin doing what God has called us to do

What are you doing to make a difference in your world? Sometimes we just aren’t sure what we are supposed to be doing, and other times we just don’t really know how to do it. As we dig into the book of Nehemiah, we will see what it looks like to have a God-given burden, how to take practical steps to begin acting on that burden, and how to overcome obstacles and distractions that are sure to come when we start doing God’s work. The time is now!

Let it Break Your Heart

God has placed within us all a burden or a passion. Some of us know exactly what it is, while others haven’t quite realized it yet. Either way, God is calling us to act. As we journey through the beginning of the book of Nehemiah, we will see that when we begin to take that burden seriously, we can’t help but do something about it.

Mother’s Day 2020

Ever felt like you were a failure as a mom? Do all the little things you do even matter? How do you prepare yourself for the “Mommy” world? Being a mom is a lot of work, and there is a lot of pressure. Pastor Dustin and his wife, Ashley, discuss these things in real, practical, candid ways as we celebrate moms on this Mother’s Day.

Coming Together

Who does Jesus say we are as the Church? What does it mean? What does it look like? How can the Church come together when everything else seems to be falling apart? Join us as we discuss the answers to these questions and really dig into how WE can make a Kingdom difference.

Often times we attack this world alone. We feel as if we have the best approach, or maybe we just don’t really fit in anywhere, and we move forward by ourselves. After all, who can look out for me better than me? Over the next few weeks, we will look at how God uses misfits, creates community, and changes the world. Being the Church means putting the WE over ME.

The Misfits

Jesus doesn’t just choose the best and brightest people, but rather the broken and overlooked. He calls misfits into His family and uses them as missionaries to change the world.

The Resurrection and the Life

On Easter Sunday, what better “I AM” statement to look at than when Jesus said, “I AM the Resurrection and the Life!” Although we see this in the middle of a story about a guy named Lazarus, it shows us the true power and nature of Jesus. He brings dead things back to life. Victory is found only through Him.

Do you ever feel stuck in life? Do you ever feel like there just has to be more? As we dig into three of the “I AM” statements of Jesus, we will see just how we can experience breakthrough. We can truly begin to live in the victory that is already ours as children of God.

The Light of the World

At some point in life, many of us come to realize that we can’t live up to everyone’s expectations. As we look at this “I Am” statement of Jesus, we will find that although we don’t always meet the standard, we have hope in a loving Savior. In a dark world, we can experience light! We can experience breakthrough. We can experience victory!

The Good Shepherd

As sheep need a shepherd, we need a Savior. Once we truly understand the qualities of our Good Shepherd, it is then up to us to follow Him and live in ultimate victory.

Reset Your Focus

As we close out our series, we are reminded of the importance of focusing on Jesus. James begins his letter by stating the importance of trusting God, and he closes his letter by stating the importance of contacting the power of God through prayer.

Often referred to as the New Testament Proverbs, the book of James is full of practical life lessons for Christ-followers. Through the examination of these life lessons, we will learn how to take what’s inside of us as Believers and begin to live it out in our lives on a daily basis.

Right Wisdom

As Christians, we often tend to mislead ourselves by exercising “worldly” wisdom instead of “Godly” wisdom”. James helps us understand what right wisdom looks like and how to live it out in our everyday lives.
