Love in Community

As we look at the character and attributes of God, we see that He exists (and always has) in community. He created us in His image, to also live in community with others. How can we really do that? What does it look like? Is it worth it?

“Love” is a word that is thrown around quite often in our culture. We love a certain food, a certain sports team, a certain song, etc. We love this person and that person. We love love love. But, do we really? Are we loving the way God has called us to love? In this series we will examine ways we can truly learn to love.

Jesus Focused

We aren’t the Church without Jesus. In the journey of being on mission every day, let us remember to keep our focus on Jesus.

We are called to be the Church beyond the 52 – beyond the 52 Sundays every year. We are called to be the Church every single day. So often Christ-followers are good at “church” life, but we don’t truly live it out in everyday life. Through this series we will take a look at what it means to be on mission for Jesus every day.

Good Neighbor

Being a good neighbor takes more than knocking on someone’s door and giving them cookies. Being a good neighbor is actually about helping meet the needs of those we come in contact with. But how can we do that? What does it look like to love people the way God has called us to love?

No Pressure

When we share the Gospel with someone, we maybe be overwhelmed. Am I saying the right thing? Does is sound good? Am I going to win? Because of the Holy Spirit, we can let go of that pressure. We can truly be bold in our stance for God as we show the broken world around us the hope of Jesus.

Go and Make

We are commanded by Jesus to GO and MAKE. What does that even mean? Where are we going and what are we making? How do we do it? Dig in to get some answers!

Finish Strong

As 2020 comes to a close, let’s look back and see what God has done! And let’s not stop pushing. With some intentionality, we can finish this year with a bang. 2021 is right around the corner, and we can put ourselves in a position to begin the new year with success.

God of Peace

In our world full of chaos, confusion and hurt; God is peace.

What was Jesus referred to as “God with us?” Is it because He was God in the flesh? Well, that’s part of it. The truth is, “God with us” has such a powerful meaning! In this series, we will see what kind of baby was really going to be born and how He is still “God with us.”

God of Hope

Isaiah delivered the powerful message of a coming Savior during a time when God’s people were feeling helpless. They were living in rebellion and darkness, yet God decided to show up. How awesome is it that even when we feel like there is no way, He makes a way. God is with us.

A Life of Thanksgiving

Is it possible to live a life a thanksgiving? If we are honest, we may not even know what that looks like. Yeah, there are some good things, but there are a lot of bad things too. How do we really buckle down and live a life that shows we are thankful?

A lot happens in life. Sometimes we are in seasons we enjoy, and other times we are in seasons we don’t think we deserve. The truth is, no matter what kind of season we are in, God deserves our thanks. We should be living a life of gratitude. Ungratefulness always leads us away from Jesus.

Contentment

Are you content? What a thought-provoking question! Contentment is something we all desire but seldom achieve. Why is that? Why can’t we just trust God enough to be okay where we are? The good news is, contentment is possible!
