IMPERFECT PEOPLE

We are a movement for imperfect people to take steps of faith together to make a Kingdom difference. Our purpose is for everyone to know God's love, grow in God's love, and show God's love to our city and the world.

Who We Are

With so many people broken and searching for more in life, we knew we had to engage in a mission to reach those far from Christ with the transforming power of the Gospel. We want people to know God’s love, grow in God’s love, and show God’s love to the world. Our emphasis, then, is to truly impact the world for Christ. The methods and means aren't as important as the results. There are people in our community, and all around the world, who are hurting and in desperate need of a loving Savior. Our aim is to help lead people to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to encourage them to continuously take their next steps of faith together with other believers.

Our Vision

Impact Church exists for people to know God's love, grow in God's love, and show God's love to the world. We are driven by God's eternal purposes rather than by tradition, buildings, budgets, or personalities.

Core Values

We value simplicity. Everything we do is rooted in our purpose to help people know God’s love, grow in God’s love, and show God’s love to the world. These values help shape who we are as we seek to be more and more like Jesus.

Charles Stanley describes worship as "all that we are responding to all that He is." We believe worship is demonstrated in multiple ways throughout the week, and we are convinced that intimate worship to an amazing God is commanded and beneficial to live life to the fullest.

God never intended for us to go through life alone. We believe we grow best when we grow with others. Living in community is not just something we talk about; it is something we believe in. Our Life Groups aren't just an added commodity at Impact Church, they ARE Impact Church.

Discipleship is simply following after Jesus with everything we have. It is growing spiritually to the point of living out our God-given purpose and potential. Discipleship is accomplished through various means, but the end result is always mature Christ followers who are passionately seeking after God. Our desire is to help mold people into disciples who help mold others into disciples. We aren’t as interested in the addition of disciples as we are in the multiplication of disciples.

Because one of God’s characteristics is to give generously, we feel compelled to do the same. It is our heart to always be mindful of the needs of others and to generously give of our time, money and skills when possible. We truly care about people, and one of the greatest ways to portray that love is through sincere generosity.

Our story of how God has changed us is worth sharing! We boldly tell people what God has done for us because we truly believe our story can, and will, help someone finally know God's love. What God did for and in us wasn't solely for us - He gave us a testimony to share with the world around us.

Here at Impact, we believe in the Next Generation. Everyone has a part to play in leading and shepherding or kids and teenagers. We want them to experience Jesus right where they are, understanding they have a unique and special purpose in this life. It really does take a village, and we commit to be that together!

Meet Our Team

Our leaders are passionate about seeing the impact that personal relationships with Jesus Christ can make in the lives of everyday people. They are convinced that God has not called us to work for Him, but rather God desires to work through us. To that end, it is their humble desire to lead others to know the love of God, to help them grow in His love, and to help them show that love to the rest of the world.

Our Beliefs

We want to be upfront when it comes to our beliefs. At Impact, our beliefs are based on essential Christian doctrine which can only be found in God's Word. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff.

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.

There is one and only one living and true God. …The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. …God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His substitutionary death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He exalts Christ. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.

It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations... to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by verbal witness undergirded by a Christian lifestyle, and by other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ.

Man is the special creation of God, in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation. …By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. … The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His own image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore every person of every race possesses dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing the two ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Election is the gracious purpose of God, according to which He regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies sinners. It is consistent with the free agency of man, and comprehends all the means in connection with the end. It is the glorious display of God's sovereign goodness, and is infinitely wise, holy, and unchangeable. It excludes boasting and promotes humility. All true believers endure to the end. Those whom God has accepted in Christ, and sanctified by His Spirit, will never fall away from the state of grace, but shall persevere to the end. Believers may fall into sin through neglect and temptation, whereby they grieve the Spirit, impair their graces and comforts, and bring reproach on the cause of Christ and temporal judgments on themselves; yet they shall be kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation.

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Being a church ordinance, it is prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord's Supper. The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.

God is the source of all blessings, temporal and spiritual; all that we have and are we owe to Him. Christians have a spiritual debtorship to the whole world, a holy trusteeship in the gospel, and a binding stewardship in their possessions. They are therefore under obligation to serve Him with their time, talents, and material possessions.

Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God's unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.

God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. …Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly…the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to Hell. …The righteous… will receive their reward and will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord.
